Sunday I spent my day exploring Allendale, NJ, it was quite beautiful. Walking around the park, I almost missed this big fellow blending in well with the rocks. I was a little shocked how big was this sleeping beauty. Few times he popped his eye open because I was blocking his sun rays.

Interesting Fact: Snapping turtles ambush their prey from the bottom of the water. Fish mistake their tongue for warms and viola dinner is served. yum
