Song Sparrow

What did the Mummy movie director say when the final scene was done?

Ok, that’s a wrap.

Interesting Fact:  Some scientists think that Song Sparrows of wet, coastal areas have darker plumage as a defense against feather mites and other decay agents that thrive in humid climates. The darker plumage contains more of a pigment called melanin, which makes feathers tougher and harder to degrade than lighter, unpigmented feathers. 1. What a beautiful little bird! I love the stripy markings and it’s delicate look. I’ve never heard of Song Sparrows… (not that I know a lot about birds anyway though) are they a special breed in your area or are they found everywhere?
Great photo too… I have already discovered just how hard it is to photograph birds, mine are lots of out of focus pictures any maybe a few good shots. Well done!

    • Thank you very much, they are found all over United States and Canada. But not a lot of people pay too much attention to the sparrows they somewhat similar to each other. I appreciate you stopping by and checking out my work. Thank you again and Happy Blogging! 🙂

  2. What a gorgeous photograph! Nature is one of my favorite things to photograph, too. (:

    • Thank you very much, I am really glad to see that you enjoyed my work. Continue to take photos of nature and Happy Blogging! 🙂
