Interesting Fact: Wild Turkeys get around mostly by walking, though they can also run and fly—when threatened, females tend to fly while males tend to run.   1. We have lots of turkeys in our yard and the Toms have been in full feather mode trying to impress the hens. One year we had 20 chicks. Nice picture. 🙋🐦

    national bird in the midst of labelling eagles “scavengers”.
    Unlike their domesticated cousins wild turkeys are extremely intelligent.
