Red-winged Blackbird

Which runs faster, hot or cold?

Hot. Everyone can catch cold.

One California subspecies of the Red-winged Blackbird lacks the yellow borders to the red shoulders (epaulets) and has been dubbed the “bicolored blackbird.” Some scientists think this plumage difference may help Red-winged Blackbirds recognize each other where their range overlaps with the similar Tricolored Blackbird. 1. Sometimes I worry about myself, when I laugh at these puns.
Good shot, the phragmite or whatever almost appears as part of the tail, like those hair “extensions”. I like red-winged blackbirds.
I’m living near Rochester, NY, home to the minor league Red Wings, which was the farm team for the Cardinals, then the Orioles, then ran out of birds and went with the Twins.

    • Don’t worry everyone feel that way about my punts. Hehehe. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂

  2. As a biologist i adore these i cant stop looking at your photographs… also those facts :3
