Snowy Egret
Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon?
They’ve got great food, but no atmosphere.
Interesting Fact: The Snowy Egret eats mostly aquatic animals, including fish, frogs, worms, crustaceans, and insects. It often uses its bright yellow feet to paddle in the water or probe in the mud, rounding up prey before striking with its bill. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Snowy_Egret/lifehistory )

I knew someone who became friends with a wild egret. The bird used to perch on his boat when he went fishing. My wife and I fed her a few times. Every winter, that egret flew down to Florida. But she always came back to Barnegat Bay in New Jersey in the spring, and she never forgot who her friends were.
Wow that is so cool. Thank you very much for sharing your story with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
One thing you couldn’t do was let the egret come indoors. Not that she was afraid to. But she wasn’t, er… housebroken.
Hehehe that would be quite interesting to see though. 😉
Cleaning it up was not so interesting.
Yeah I can imagine.
