It’s Not Always What’s In Front Of You ” SO TURN AROUND TO SEE WHAT REALLY MATTERS “

down town jersey city

F/5.6, 1/125, ISO 200, Adobe Photoshop CS6.

This actually caught my eye as I was leaving down town Jersey City. People always say keep looking ahead, well I say look all around you, because you never know what you will see.

Interesting Fact: With its 18-piece spire, 1WTC stands at 1,776 feet, a direct reference to the year the Declaration of Independence was signed. ( http://www.rd.com/slideshows/fascinating-trivia-about-one-world-trade-center/ )

  1. So true. I often turn around when walking just to see what is behind because you don’t know what you are missing!

  2. You will never move forward with a very huge rear mirror…..don’t be haunted by the past for a bright future….nice pict and article

  3. I like shots like that and have tried a few times to capture a few. You’ve got a good one. Thanks for the like on my blog, too; I appreciate it.

  4. You capture “through open lens” the magnificence we are surrounded with..this is a tribute to your consciousness as an expression of love and beauty wherever you are. This picture really moved me as I had recently watched the blood sweat and tears of rebuilding the world trade center.
So happy to come on to your blog and see such “light” Thank you Heart to Heart Robyn

  5. Sometimes we need to look back and appreciate how far we have come. Great quote and picture.

  6. Thank you for the like on my post which eventually brought me here. This is a wonderful shot! I love the black and white vs. color.
