Day 26 / 365

This game never gets old.    🙂

Interesting Fact: Playing cards were also used for much more than playing games. For a long time, only the faces of cards were printed, leaving the backs blank. These blank backs were one of the most convenient sources of paper, so they were often written on and used as coupons, love letters, invitations, and even currency. Well judging by some of the ugly backs to cards the blank ones sound really cool. And I remember my Mum telling my brother and me about 52 pick up, very funny.

So, what were other things playing cards were used for? I remember making the “house of cards” to see how far we could go before it collapsed. I think you have more in mind than that though. 🙂

I remember doing that, it was a lot of fun, and it had me occupied for hours. Now I think the only “house of cards” people enjoy is that show on Netflix. And that is a shame that people don’t build them as much as they use to. Thanks you for enjoying my work. 🙂
