Day 54 / 365
It is hard to come out with a good surprise. 🙂
Interesting Fact: In 1974, four engineers from Pilot Pen Corporation invented a “dustless chalkboard.” Their invention has become one of the most popular drawing toys, with more than 40 million sold since its introduction. Countless children have enjoyed playing and learning with it. This wonderful invention is the Magna Doodletm! ( http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/magna-doodle.htm )

It is my daughter’s 9th birthday today 24th February. I think I might go and pick up one of those big floaty balloons while I’m down at the post office. Great idea.
Wish I could invent something like the Magna Doodle. Keep hoping to get my books finished and we all live in hope on that front.
Meanwhile, I’m off to decorate more cupcakes
Happy Birthday over there!
xx Rowena
Thank you and happy belated birthday to your daughter. Hope you got the balloons and got everything done for that day. And you are right we all hope to do something that will impact the future like that. But I say continue with your book and when your done it will impact the future. 🙂
Thank you. I went and bought the balloon and it is still flying high.
I have also been teaching my kids how to cook, which also teaches them far more than I’d ever expected. That’s a book as well. We are working on a cookbook/memoir. I must say that we have our own unique style which I think people will find refreshingly endearing after seeing those uber-perfect kids on Masterchef.
That’s amazing, being unique is the key to success. You want something different then anyone else has done. So good luck with your book and your unique ways. 🙂
Thanks!
Very cool. I remember the ol’ Etch n’ Sketch days. This certainly is an improvement!
Thank you. The etch n’ sketch was really cool I remember thinking that this can’t get any better. 🙂
As someone who also did a 365 for a couple of years it’s great to see a different approach to a 365 project – love the Interesting Facts!
Thank you very much. I wanted to do the project with a little twist, and from comments like yours I think it worked. Than you again. 🙂
hope she liked the surprise 🙂
She did love it and that was just the wake up surprise. She had a full day of surprises. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. 🙂
