Peregrine Falcon
Day 39 / 365
Don’t Mind The Mess I Was Just Having A Snack!
Interesting Fact: Falcons are the swiftest birds of prey and are very muscular. In level flight the travel about 50 kilometers (31 miles) an hour. In a dive, called a “stoop” they reach speeds over 300 kilometers (186.33 miles) an hour! ( http://www.powayusd.com/teachers/lharvey/falcon2006/facts.htm )
Were’d you get off to that you found this lovely?
Thank you for stopping by. I don’t found this lovely, but this is life. I just captured one of life moment, maybe its not the best moment. Sorry if I offended you in anyway with my photo.

Wow! I just got a “real” camera and I’m obsessed with catching beautiful images of birds but I’m still too noisy and scare them away. This is awesome.

Thank you very much. And are fascinating raptors. đ
Incredible shot.
Peregrines are the fastest animal alive, as well, when you clump them with all other species. Faster than a cheetah. Incredible creatures. Beautiful and amazing shot.
Thank you very much. đ
Love the realism, after all nature isn’t prim n proper. Its brutal.
Yes it is. Thanks for stopping by. đ
Awesome cropping shot.
Not a lot of cropping happens here. Thank you very much. đ
The photo really great and you captured the astonishing significance of nature in the eyes of the Falcon. Where was the photo taken, what type of lense and camera.
Thank you very much, and the photo was taking in NJ Meadowlands, with nikon d7000 with a Tamron 150-600mm lens. đ
