Day 146 / 365
All problems can be solved! 🙂
Interesting Fact: Invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and architecture professor Erno Rubik, the Rubik’s cube has challenged and frustrated countless numbers of players who have ever picked up the 3-D toy puzzle. While the Rubik’s Cube reached its peak popularity in the 1980s, the more than 350 million cubes sold since then make it one of the best-selling toys of all time. No way am I going back to unsuccessful grappling with that 🙂
Ha ha I don’t think I every finished one complete, I think at one point I had to sides. 🙂
I remember playing with these at school and the best I ever managed was getting one side worked out. I had friends who pulled them apart and put them back together to solve them…the cheats!
I never finished one, but I did had some friends like yours. 🙂
I’ve got one when I was a kid but I only managed to complete one side…. 🙂
I accomplished two sides but that is about it I give up after that. 🙂
now I want to buy one of this but it’s hard to find one these days…
Any toys store has them, or you can just order them online. I sure you will find some and next thing you know you will complete it. 🙂
I saw a middle school kid playing with one last month. They still rock.
Yes they do. I don’t think they’re ever
going to go out of style
No, they are part of our culture now. My hubby read a book on solutions when he was a kid, and can solve any permutation of the cube like lightning. Very impressive.
Wow that is really impressive, I should read that book. 🙂
it’s like a magic trick when he does it. 🙂
I can just imagine. 🙂
🙂 sorry my reply got sent in two pieces. 🙂
No worries, I figured it out. XOXO
🙂
My son is obsessed. He is an eighth grader. Has got his 3×3 average time to a sub 20. Amazing to watch!
Wow that’s awesome. Thank you for sharing. Tell your son to keep up the good work. 🙂
