Tree Swallow

Day 165 / 365

What did the little bird say to the big bird?

Peck on someone your own size!

Interesting Fact: Tree Swallows winter farther north than any other American swallows and return to their nesting grounds long before other swallows come back. They can eat plant foods as well as their normal insect prey, which helps them survive the cold snaps and wintry weather of early spring. • It was a great timing. I did hang out by that nest for just about 45 minutes and got a lot of nice shots but this one was my favorite. Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. 🙂

  1. That’s an amazing photo…as usual! I love the baby bird with it’s beak wide open. Just gorgeous!

    • Thank you very much, it did took me 45 minutes standing in the sun looking up to get this shot by I think it was worth it. 🙂
