The American Goldfinch
Day 194 / 365
What do you give a sick bird?
Tweetment.
Interesting Fact: They are one of the latest nesting birds, starting in late June or early July, when most other songbirds are finishing with breeding. Their late timing may be related to the availability of suitable nesting materials and seeds for feeding young. ( http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/91/overview/American_Goldfinch.aspx )

Beautiful bird and photo.
Thank you so much. 🙂

Pretty bird..I must say the title made me smile 😉👍
Make people smile is my favorite thing to do. So I very glad to hear that. Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
I love your sense of humour!
Thank you, that makes me very happy that you enjoyed it. 🙂

Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. 🙂
Corny as ever 🙂
Yep, someone has to be. Hahaha. 🙂
Why 🙂
Someone has to be corny so the really good jokes seem so much better. 🙂
🙂
Lol. I have a conflict going on in my head. Your photo of the divine bird just isn’t sitting well with the image of a stumpy little minion. I love your sense of humour.
Thank you very much. 🙂
Bananas!!
🙂
Wonderful capture !
Thank you. 🙂
Ah, there he is–my state bird! Yet very seldom seen in New Jersey. I think that’s because the Sustainable Development-Smart Growth-Save the Planet crowd who runs my town has paved over almost every square inch of it.
Sorry about that but you can still see a lot of them around northern Jersey. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Ah, but no minion can come close to the attractiveness of the goldfinch.
That is very true, I like the way you think. Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. 🙂
What a cute bird! It’s way cuter than a minion.
That’s for sure, hehehe. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Happy Blogging! 🙂
