White-Tailed Deer

What do you get when you cross Bambi with a ghost?

Bamboo.

Interesting Fact: Female deer, called does, give birth to one to three young at a time, usually in May or June and after a gestation period of seven months. Young deer, called fawns, wear a reddish-brown coat with white spots that helps them blend in with the forest. ( http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/white-tailed-deer/ )

Aren’t they gorgeous? What a pity they grow up and turn into venison. Sally.

Don’t like venison, do like to see the does:) Blessed to live with them in my own backyard. Hunters hunt all around, but they know they are safe here. Yes, if things got ugly, my family would rely on them, but for now.. We enjoy their graceful, quite beauty:)

These animals are beautiful, I just can’t understand that someone wants to kill them. Hunting is not a hobby, it is killing for no reason.
