Golden Gate Bridge

Just watched a documentary about beavers… It was the best damn program I’ve ever seen.

Interesting Fact:Many wanted to build a bridge to connect San Francisco to Marin County. San Francisco was the largest American city still served primarily by ferry boats. Because it did not have a permanent link with communities around the bay, the city’s growth rate was below the national average.[14] Many experts said that a bridge could not be built across the 6,700 ft (2,042 m) strait, which had strong, swirling tides and currents, with water 372 ft (113 m) deep[15] at the center of the channel, and frequent strong winds. Experts said that ferocious winds and blinding fogs would prevent construction and operation. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Gate_Bridge#Ferry_service )

    • Hehehe. That was just a joke, because beaver build dams so it was best “Damn” program. Thank you very much for stopping by and taking an interest. Happy Blogging! 🙂

  2. Your photo is lovely, but your title stunned me. Going through one of those decision-making seasons. You really can’t do both, can you?! 🙂 Blessings!

  3. Aagh that reminds me, have been several times to San Fran – but every time it’s or foggy or we run out of time. What is reported about the fog is true – sometimes it’s so thick you can only see a few cars in front of you. Like the angle you took from the side! Thanks for the like:)

  4. Last may I was in golden gate and the weather is so windy and very cold it’s like winter. You did not include your joke in this post ah . I have my new site now because the old one is running out of space . The new one is LEDYLACSONPINOYTRAVELLER.WORDPRESS.COM

    • It is super windy there. I did include the joke it’s about the documentary. Not a lot of people got that joke. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂

  5. Great picture, I never get tired of that view. Been to that spot many times as well, funny but rarely have fog problems there. Now that I think about it probably because if it’s a fogged in day we don’t go! Advantage of being a local.

    • It is quite stunning to see in person. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
