Day 249 / 365
What does a wall clock do after it stops ticking?
It hangs around.
Interesting Fact: The current Colgate Clock was built in 1924 to replace an earlier clock designed by Colgate engineer Warren Davey, which was constructed by the Seth Thomas Clock Company for Colgate’s centennial in 1906. After the current clock’s construction, the earlier clock was relocated to a Colgate factory in Clarksville, Indiana.[1][2][3] The Jersey City clock was maintained by John A. Winters from the 1930s until his retirement in 1976. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colgate_Clock_(Jersey_City))

It winds up as silent wall sculpture? Ought to count for something. (OK it’s late, brain keeps on ticking, but the jokes aren’t sticking)
Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. π
This corny one just woke me up…now I’m hungry. HA! Really like the little trivia facts you leave with each pic.
Thank you very much I am happy to see that you enjoyed my work. π
I’m going to try to remember that joke for when the kids come home. They love jokes but I can never remember them. Our local barber had this joke in his window last week:
What do you call it when you’re singing in the shower and you swallow the soap?
Soap Opera.
I also love clock photos and that’s a great one xx Rowena
Haha. I haven’t heard that one yet. That is awesome. Thank you for stopping and sharing this great joke with us. π
