Red-tailed Hawk
Day 242 / 365
Did you know my fiancé does a great bird impression.
She watches me like a hawk.
Interesting Fact: In flight, this hawk travels at speeds from 20 to 40 mph (64 km/h); however, when diving to catch prey, their speed may exceed 120 mph (190 km/h). ( http://beautyofbirds.com/redtailedhawks.html )
Red-tailed hawks are one of my favorite raptors.
They are an amazing birds. Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. 🙂
Great photo. There is a hawk that comes to the back yard here and even sat on the patio.
Oh wow that’s amazing, I wish that one would come around my yard. Instead I have to chase them around woods and fields. 🙂
So our local redtail is on vacation there. The pocket pooches will be thrilled
Great expression. Love the way you caught his coloring and textures
Thank you, I appreciate your opinion very much. Happy blogging. 🙂
Hope she doesn’t watch you like that hawk!
Reminds me of a cheetah I saw at an animal show he was very interested in all the small children in the front row for some reason 😉
Oh she does. Hahaha. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your story with us. I do enjoy reading those. 🙂
