Groundhog (Woodchuck)

Day 302 / 365

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Interesting Fact: Groundhogs hibernate meaning they spend their winters sleeping.  They hibernate from October to late March. Groundhogs prepare for hibernation by putting on weight.  Then they live off the fat until they come out of hibernation. I must be preparing for hibernation. From now on I think that’s how I’ll explain my weight issues. Wouldn’t be bad to be a woodchuck. 🙂

He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood. Haha. Thank you very much for stopping by. 🙂

Hahaha, thank you for the lough and the education!
We don’t have this animal here in Europe and I never new what groundhog was – now I looked it up. We do have a Hungarian name for it: mormota – and the only thing we know about it is a saying: “Sleeping like a mormota.”

We have a groundhog in the yard and my wife says he prepared for winter by eating the remainder of her garden. Not only do we feed it but we think we are housing it under our porch. Great and informative post. Cheers!
