White-throated Sparrow

What do you get if you cross a worm and an elephant?

Very big worm holes in your garden!

Interesting Fact: The oldest recorded White-throated Sparrow was at least 14 years, 11 months old, when it was recaptured and rereleased during banding operations in Alberta. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/White-throated_Sparrow/lifehistory )

  1. Great picture and beautiful blur…hope that pretty little sparrow didn’t have to wait too long for that worm to come out. I have a lot of those little birds at my place. Wow, those would be some huge worm holes in the garden. lol Hugs

    • Hahaha Yes it would. That is so amazing that you have a lot of them to come by your place. Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. Happy Blogging! 🙂

  2. Gorgeous picture! What a great reason to blog. I love watching for birds when I’m out walking, although I only know the names of the more common ones.

    • I do too, it is such a peaceful experience do so. At first I only known just the common names as well, as I was snapping photos I would go home and look those birds up. Thank you very much for stopping by and checking out my work. Happy Blogging! 🙂
