You don’t want to; it really stinks!
Interesting Fact: Skunks are legendary for their powerful predator-deterrent—a hard-to-remove, horrible-smelling spray. A skunk’s spray is an oily liquid produced by glands under its large tail. Through Open Lens 
I’ve never seen a live skunk in the wild. It’s actually on my bucket list. I’ve smelled plenty of the dead variety. I don’t need to repeat that experience.

Someone who has done field research that COULD have brought encounters with skunks, I love this simple shot. I still look for opportunities to find and approach, to observe these little ones, among others. We have a household rule, that if I do get too close, I’m not driving the car until cleaned up.

Phew!!! We drove past a fresh skunk road kill once – I swear the smell lingered for at least 2 miles, that’s a long time to hold your breath 😥
