Black-Capped Chickadee

What did one chicken say to the other after they walked through poison ivy ?

“You scratch my beak and I’ll scratch yours !”

Interesting Fact: The Black-Capped Chickadee hides seeds and other food items to eat later. Each item is placed in a different spot and the chickadee can remember thousands of hiding places. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Black-capped_Chickadee/lifehistory )

Nice photo. I enjoy watching chickadees hide peanuts, both shelled and in the shell. They’re great birds.

I love your photos! But as I was scrolling, I had to stop at this bird. It caught my eye even before I read the info. It’s beautiful! And the fact that it can remember all its hiding places…something I wish I could do with just one! LOL Thanks for your support in my little blog world. I really appreciate it! πŸ™‚
