Beautiful photographs, we have these beautiful birds right in the middle of the city, they sit on the ledge of an old factory building stalking its prey. The strange thing is I find these birds very shy elsewhere, but in this location they seem hardy and not bothered about city life. Strange
Thank you. And that is strange. But you are definitely right it the city I can close up shots of the birds, if I go hiking in the wild the see me coming and they fly away. 🙂

I chased Blue Herons up and down the Maumee River most of the Summer and Fall. They’re beautiful. But my shots are limited because my equipment suffers the same dilemma. Still, in all, I did get some nice shots. Yours are extraordinary!
That’s great that you got some nice shots. It is hard to capture those birds, it took me few attempts to get my shots. A lot of running up and down like you did and few hours of standing still. Some days I came home empty handed but it was still a lot of fun to watch them. Thank you for you comment and happy blogging. 🙂
