Gray Kingbird
Where do most zombies live?
On DEAD end streets!
Interesting Fact: Like other kingbirds, these birds aggressively defend their territory against intruders, including mammals and much larger birds such as caracaras, red-tailed hawks and broad-winged hawks. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_kingbird )
the bird blends in to its natural environment very well here!

Another bird I have yet to encounter – thanks for sharing – sounds like I need to pack and head south for a little birding
Hehehe. I am glad to share this one with you. And I am sure that you encounter some bird that I haven’t heard or seen. Thank you very much for stopping by and Happy Blogging! 🙂
What constitutes the background- sunlight? Is it telephoto? It is a great picture but raises more questions about how you took it than I can convey. I love photography, but am more of an appreciator than a high quality photographer.
I did use a telephoto lens on that shot. The background is sunlight, trees and bushes that bland in nicely together because of the aperture. The bird was in light shade so that’s what made that photo work so well with the background. Thank you very much for stopping by and taking interest in my work. Happy Blogging! 🙂
Hey, that was awesome photography as well as schweetly synchronistic info re birdly abilities… I’d say something rude about the pun, but it was actually pretty good too 😎
Hehehe I am really glad to see that you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for stopping by and Happy Blogging! 🙂
