Coyote
What did the Coyote say when someone stepped on his foot?
Aoooowwwwwwww!
Interesting Fact: Coyotes are formidable in the field where they enjoy keen vision and a strong sense of smell. They can run up to 40 miles an hour. In the fall and winter, they form packs for more effective hunting. ( https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/c/coyote/ )
And highly intelligent as well.

Great shot! I didn’t know you did anything but birds. I am glad you posted the coyote shot. As a kid growing up in west Texas there used to be a lot of coyotes around.
Their calls were soothing to me, and I think they are beautiful animals. Not quite wolf like, bit still very beautiful. And they are so maligned. Nowadays, the coyote call is so rare that it is almost never heard. I miss them.
Thank you very much, I try to take photos of all kinds of wildlife, but most of the time I mainly come across birds. I agree Coyotes are stunning and amazing animals I wish I would come across them more often. Thank you again for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
You too!

Wow … an absolutely beautiful photo !! He blends in so well with the winter grass. I see how he could easily slip up on his prey. While he gives a sweet smile there seems to be a bit of sadness in his eyes. I hope he’s not lost from his family … not in this Christmas Season. Take care little one. Jan
Thank you very much, I am really glad that I came across him, it was just for few seconds he looked at me and disappeared into the winter grass. I am sure he’s not lost for his family for Christmas. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
Speaking of howling, did you see the music video I made with the coyotes yipping and howling? I posted it on October 20th if you are interested.
Just watched it really awesome, you did everything by yourself that is impressive. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing this with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂 P.S. hope you will do more of them.
I’m happy you liked it. I have music posted with one of my cats, frogs, beavers, badgers, snowy egrets, and a lizard. There’s also just plain music on my blog. I’m always looking for critters and weird sounds to create music with or for.
That is awesome, definitely keep it up. 👏👏👍👍😉
I’ve got a few coyote photos – they’re really swift and hard to capture. Congratulations on getting one to smile for the camera.
Thank you very much, I was lucky to be at the right time at the right place. I really appreciate your feedback and Happy Blogging! 🙂
