White-Tailed Deer Fawn
How do you save a deer during hunting season?
You hang on for deer life.
Interesting Fact: White-tailed deer hide their fawns on the forest floor or in tall grass to keep them safe. ( http://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/mammals/w/white-tailed-deer/ )

I used to save deer during hunting season by standing outside and blasting my trumpet to scare them (I hoped) into hiding. Probably ineffective, but it made me feel like I was doing something.
