Barn Swallow
What did the blanket say to the bed?
Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!
Interesting Fact: According to legend, the Barn Swallow got its forked tail because it stole fire from the gods to bring to people. An angry deity hurled a firebrand at the swallow, singeing away its middle tail feathers. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Barn_Swallow/lifehistory )

My favorite bird! So pretty. Until about 3 years ago, there was a nest/nests under the eaves and I like to think, generations of the same family returning for over 30 years!!I love so much of what I have witnessed with them. Even wrote a story about one baby we rescued. A barn swallow baby has a perpetual smile. Thanks for sharing.
