When Butterflies Fall In Love, Do They Feel Humans In Their Stomach?

F/6.3, 1/100, ISO 320.

Butterfly

What did the grape say when it was stepped on?

Nothing, it just let out a little wine.

Interesting Fact:  Butterflies are insects in the macrolepidopteranclade Rhopalocera from the orderLepidoptera, which also includes moths. Adult butterflies have large, often brightly coloured wings, and conspicuous, fluttering flight. The group comprises the large superfamilyPapilionoidea, which contains at least one former group, the skippers (formerly the superfamily “Hesperioidea”) and the most recent analyses suggest it also contains the moth-butterflies (formerly the superfamily “Hedyloidea”). Butterfly fossils date to the Paleocene, which was about 56 million years ago.  ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly )

  1. I love monarch butterflies. When I was a boy I used to like to catch one and release it in my room. I always let the butterfly go the next day, though. Didn’t want it to go hungry.

  4. thanks for liking my blog, which turned me onto yours. love your ‘eye’ on this beautiful world of ours. btw… Did you know that the magnificent Monarch Butterflies migrate over a two year period… over 2+ life cycles across North America… the route and place to cocoon embedded i their collective memory. They are endangered because of the change in temperatures in their usual cocooning stops. It’s hard for nature to respond as quickly as Climate Change demands. keep clicking while it’s still here!
