Golden Eagle

What do you get when you cross fish and an elephant?

Swimming trunks.

Interesting Fact: Although capable of killing large prey such as cranes, wild ungulates, and domestic livestock, the Golden Eagle subsists primarily on rabbits, hares, ground squirrels, and prairie dogs. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Golden_Eagle/overview )

  2. I sure am glad you told us what this was as I’d never have guessed it was a golden eagle … the legs on this bird look almost human, or is this just my perception. I’m not going to ask what it is eating – OMG what a close-up view you had!

    • The legs does look a little human now that I look at it. Even if you would ask me what it was eating I wouldn’t know. When I came across him it was to hard to identify what it was. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂

  3. Are we the only species on the planet that cooks our food? Should we be eating more raw? These are the questions that came to mind after reading your post. Hehehe.

    • Those are some good questions, but I definitely don’t have the answer for them. I know we can eat raw fish but raw meat can be a little iffy. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
