Don’t get me started on sharks! I could talk about them all day.
The shark in your photo looks like one of those little dogfish my wife and I used to catch all the time in Barnegat Bay.

You know what I am not too familiar with sharks someone told me it was a baby bull shark but it might be Dogfish shark it does look like it. Thank you very much for bringing this up to my attention I will look more into it and switch it. Thank you again and Happy Blogging! 🙂

The bull shark is responsible for more attacks on humans than all other species of sharks put together. But the one in the photo sure looks like an ordinary harmless dogfish.

Thank you, you are the second person that told me this. I just switch my post. I am not a shark expert and when I took this photo someone told me it was a baby bull shark so since I didn’t know any better I want with that. Thank you very much again for stopping by and telling me this. I really appreciate it and Happy Blogging! 🙂

I have a soft spot for dogfish–they have beautiful eyes–even though they steal bait and aren’t a practical culinary choice.
        P.S.–I love your blog.

Thank you very much, I learn something new and now I know what kind of shark I photograph. Thank you again for your help. 😉

A quotation from L.M. Boyd (I saw it on a T-Shirt once): “There are 350 varieties of shark, not counting loan and pool.”

Yes, my sentiment too, we’re in theri house. Over here there’s so much whining about sharks, yet there have been fewer sightings than when I was a kid!
