Canada Goose
How do we know that insects are so clever?
Because they always know when your eating outside!
Interesting Fact: They mate for life with very low “divorce rates,” and pairs remain together throughout the year. Geese mate “assortatively,” larger birds choosing larger mates and smaller ones choosing smaller mates; in a given pair, the male is usually larger than the female. What a graceful shot! Plus, as an added benefit, this captured several different “in flight” wing positions for those like me who like to study avian photographs. Bravo!
Thank you very much, I am glad that you picked up on it. My favorite thing about this photo is that the first goose had it’s tongue out. That’s where the title came from because Duffy Duck form looney toons use to say that stick out its tongue. Happy Blogging! 🙂
Wonderful photography as usual… you never cease to amaze me! What are you, the bird whisperer? Also, can I be a goose?
Sure you can Hehehe. I think I’m more like a bird paparazzi lol. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
