Red-tailed Hawk
What did one elevator say to the other elevator?
I think I’m coming down with something!
Interesting Fact: Mammals make up the bulk of most Red-tailed Hawk meals. Frequent victims include voles, mice, wood rats, rabbits, snowshoe hares, jackrabbits, and ground squirrels. The hawks also eat birds, including pheasants, bobwhite, starlings, and blackbirds; as well as snakes and carrion. Individual prey items can weigh anywhere from less than an ounce to more than 5 pounds. ( https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Red-tailed_Hawk/lifehistory )
So very rare, to catch the moment of predatory bird, enjoying its catch…
Thank you very much, I was just at the right place at the right time. I really appreciate your comment and Happy Blogging! 🙂

Wonderful capture! And add Pigeons to his diet. I saw a Red-tailed zoom a Pigeon into the slope of our riverbank and gun him down for a meal. Chilling!
Yeah, anything that’s smaller then them and if it doesn’t put up too much of a fight it is a meal to them. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your story with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
Always my pleasure, Lukas!
