What do you call a witch at the beach

If You Are Lonely, Dim All The Lights And Put On A Horror Movie. You Won’t Feel Like You Are Lonely Any More.

February 10, 2020 — 6 Comments

F/6.3, 1/800, ISO 640.

Double crested Cormorant

What do you call a witch at the beach?

A sand-witch!

Interesting Fact: Cormorants have less preen oil than other birds, so their feathers can get soaked rather than shedding water like a duck’s. Though this sounds like a liability, this is thought to be an adaptation that helps cormorants hunt underwater more effectively.
