Osprey
What do lawyers wear to court?
Lawsuits!
Interesting Fact: The Osprey readily builds its nest on manmade structures, such as telephone poles, channel markers, duck blinds, and nest platforms designed especially for it. Such platforms have become an important tool in reestablishing Ospreys in areas where they had disappeared. In some areas nests are placed almost exclusively on artificial structures. A coastal restaurant in Maine has a long-running osprey nest on an outdoor platform. They also have a periscope? so that customers can watch the nesting activity and the fledglings learn to fly. On coastal Route One, it brings a lot of traffic!
Now that really cool and a great idea. I might have to look into it and go visit one day. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing this with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂
In our area the osprey builds its nest on top of the steel structures that carry the power cables. These fascinating birds have made a remarkable comeback here at the Arrow Lakes region.
That is really cool, they are quite amazing birds. I want to capture one diving for a fish some day. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂

I learned recently that there’s an osprey nest on a pole in a shopping center 2 miles from water in Long Island. There’s a shortage of good nest sites.
I guess so. Hehehe Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your story with us. Stay Safe and Happy Blogging! 🙂
