Haters Will See You Walking On Water And Say It Is Because You Can’t Swim

F/11.0, 1/500, ISO 250.

Great Egret

Worker calls in to his Boss:

Worker: I can’t come to work today. I’m sick

Boss: Oh yea! What’s wrong with you now?

Worker: I have anal glaucoma.

Boss: What the hell is that?

Worker: I just can’t see my ass working today.

Interesting Fact: Great Egrets fly slowly but powerfully: with just two wingbeats per second their cruising speed is around 25 miles an hour. ( http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/great_egret/lifehistory )

  1. Wow, I’ll have to remember that! “You walk on water because you can’t swim.” That says a mouthful.

  2. Beautiful shot! The water is so calm that the reflection is almost perfect, and the Egret is so regal looking.

    • Thank you very much, I am really glad to see that you enjoyed it. Thank you again for stopping by and Happy Blogging! 🙂

  3. Nice shot! – always appreciate how accommodating the Egrets and Herons are for us wildlife photographers, little movement and like to pose.

    • I guess they are truly the wildlife models. Thank you very much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with us. Happy Blogging! 🙂

    • Thank you very much for enjoying my work. Sorry to get back to you so late I haven’t had the time to respond to comments lately. But that is a great photo you got there and I pretty sure that the bird that you captured is Black-Billed Magpie. I apologize for my late reply again. Stay Safe and Happy Blogging! 🙂

      • Oh no worries; we all get busy. Thanks for the identification, Lucas (I hope that’s right.) I was hoping you would see my post because I knew you’d be able to identify my mystery bird. Have a great day, and thanks again.🙂
