Interesting Fact: At birth, white tail fawns have a spotted reddish coat that is fairly silky. There may be several hundred spots on the coat. The spots enable the fawn to camouflage itself, with the colors blending well with the surrounding natural environment. They usually weigh between 4 to 8 pounds at birth. A man went to visit a friend and was amazed to find him playing chess with his Chinchilla. He watched the game in astonishment for a while. “I can hardly believe my eyes!” he exclaimed. “That’s the smartest chinchilla I’ve ever seen.”

Interesting Fact: Chinchillas see with their whiskers. Even though they have big eyes, the eyes are under developed, making the Chinchilla not see well with it.
